A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device and can read again later. Websites can also store information in other ways, such as the browser's local storage. In this policy we call all of these "cookies" for short, and the same choices apply to all of them.
Today this site sets no cookie files at all. It uses your browser's local storage and session storage for the items listed below.

Your choices
When you first visit, a banner offers three buttons of equal size: "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Choose". The banner does not stop you reading the site. If you close it without choosing, we keep only essential items. If you select "Choose", every optional category starts switched off.
You can change your mind at any time through "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page. Withdrawing a choice is as easy as giving it and takes effect at once: the items of that category are deleted from your device. Every part of the site works without optional cookies; if you refuse personalisation, your language and theme choices last until you reload the page.
We keep a record of each choice, the version of this policy you saw and when you made it, so that we can show we respected it. The record is linked to a random reference kept in your browser, not to your name. If you sign in, the choice is linked to your account; if your account holds a later choice made on another device, that one applies and we tell you.

No analytics or marketing item exists today, and we do not use advertising networks. Those categories are listed so that you are asked before anything is ever added to them.
Services from other companies
Today no part of this site is loaded from another company. The typefaces, styles, scripts and images all come from this site, so viewing a page does not make your browser contact anyone else.
No payment provider, video player or map is embedded today. Before any such service is used, it will be added to the cookie list, and nothing from it that needs your consent will load until you have given it.
Browser controls and privacy signals
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings. If you block essential items, signing in will not work. Deleting site data also deletes your saved choice, so the banner will ask you again.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics and marketing for that browser unless you switch them on yourself.
Visitors in different countries
We apply the same rules to every visitor, wherever they are: essential items only until you choose, and optional items only with your consent. Where the law of your country gives you more protection, we follow that law as well. This policy is published in English for now; Urdu, Arabic and Portuguese versions will follow once they have been reviewed.
Changes and contact
When we change this policy we update its version. If a change adds a category, an item or another company, we ask you again before relying on your earlier choice.
