Privacy notice
Plain language, for this pre-launch site. We collect only what we need to reply to you, and you stay in control of it.
Who we are
This site is run by the founder's office of the MominSheikh.com Ecosystem at www.mominsheikh.com. You can reach us about privacy at [official business email to be confirmed], or through the contact page.
What we collect and why
| What | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry and booking details | Name, email, organisation, market, message, chosen time | To reply to your request (purpose: enquiry_contact) |
| Account details | Name, email, roles | To sign you in and show your portal |
| Consent records | What you agreed to, when, which notice version, language | To prove what you agreed to and honour changes |
| Optional updates | Your email, only if you opt in | To send occasional updates (purpose: marketing) |
We do not sell your data, and we do not collect more than these purposes need.
Lawful basis and consent
We handle enquiries on the basis of your request and the consent you give when you send it. Marketing is separate and optional: it is off unless you switch it on, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Each consent is recorded with the version of this notice you saw. Current version: 2026-09-enquiry-v1
The AI assistant
Ask Momin is automated, not a person. Today it looks up answers in an approved knowledge base in your browser; no AI model writes them and your questions are not sent to a server. It cites its sources and never takes actions on your behalf — it cannot book, buy, sign or change anything. Our Responsible AI policy sets the commitments that will apply before any AI feature is offered.
Your rights

You can exercise these rights yourself in the Privacy Centre of the client portal (sign-in required).
Open the Privacy CentreWe aim to respond well within legal deadlines: under Oman's Personal Data Protection Law, within 45 days; under the EU GDPR, within one month.
Retention and legal hold
We keep enquiry and booking details only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up work. If a record is under a legal hold — for example because of a dispute or a legal obligation — it is kept until the hold is lifted, and we tell you when a deletion request is affected by one.
Where your data is stored
Enquiries, bookings, accounts and consent records are stored on the platform's server. Your browser keeps only the few items listed in the cookie policy.
When the platform launches, data will be hosted with licensed providers, with EU data hosted in the EU.
International transfers
The ecosystem serves Pakistan, Oman and the EU. Where personal data must move between countries after launch, it will be protected by appropriate safeguards — for EU data, Standard Contractual Clauses with a transfer impact assessment.
