Training and certification

The courses and certification levels planned for customer owners, administrators and teams, and for partner staff: what each track teaches, how certificates are earned and checked, and when each track opens.

No course has run and no certificate has been issued.

This programme is planned. The platform capabilities the courses teach, including the learning module that issues certificates, are not yet live, and each track opens only when what it teaches is live in your market. The one piece of training in use today is the partner induction, given in person. Prices, pass marks and validity periods are shown as [to be set].

Key pointEvery course teaches only what is live. A certificate shows what a person has learned and shown they can do; it never implies a capability, approval or partnership that does not exist.

Principles

  • Teach what is live

A course opens in a market only when the capability it teaches is live there.

  • Show, do not just tell

Certification requires a practical task as well as a knowledge check.

  • A person grades

No grade or certificate is issued on an automated or AI assessment alone; a named person confirms every assessed result.

  • Practise safely

Practical tasks use a training organisation with sample data, never a customer's real records.

  • Certificates can be checked

Every certificate has a unique number and a public page that confirms it.

  • Learners own their record

A certificate appears on a public profile only if the learner chooses.

Levels

Working names, which may change before the first course opens. Not every track has all three.

LevelWhat it showsHow it is earned
FoundationThe learner understands the basics and can work safelyComplete the course and pass its knowledge check
CertifiedThe learner can do the job unaidedFoundation, then a graded assessment and a practical task in a training organisation
AdvancedThe learner can design, troubleshoot and guide othersCertified, then an advanced assessment and a reviewed project

Tracks for customers

Choose a track by the work a person will do, not by their job title.

TrackWhat it coversLevels
Owners and administratorsSetting up and running an organisation on Momin OS: members, roles, billing, the security centre, access reviews, integrations, audit and offboardingFoundation, Certified, Advanced
Customer teamsOne course per area of daily work: getting started, leads and sales, bookings, projects and delivery, invoicing and payments, content and publishing, the support deskFoundation; some then Certified
Ask Momin and AI useWhat Ask Momin does and does not do, checking an answer before using it, and reading an action preview before confirmingFoundation
Clients using the client portalA short orientation on viewing projects, approving milestones, paying invoices and raising requestsNo certificate

Every organisation is encouraged to have at least two people certified at administrator level, so that it never depends on one person. For customers in the European Union, the AI track can help an organisation meet its own duty to make sure its staff have sufficient AI literacy; it does not replace the organisation's own assessment of what its staff need.

Tracks for partners

TrackWhat partner staff learn
Partner inductionClaims, consent, brand use and lead ownership. Completed before a partner is activated
Referrers and affiliatesTracked links and codes, attribution and commission, and disclosing a commercial relationship
ResellersProduct training for each offer before selling it; Certified level before configuring it for customers
Delivery partnersProject methods and templates, handling client information, recording and handing over work
Instructors, creators and vendorsPlanning, building and publishing a course; assessment and review standards; marketplace rules
Technology partnersPublic interfaces, authentication, webhooks and the rules for handling data received

Assessment and certificates

LevelAssessmentPass mark
FoundationKnowledge check marked automatically[to be set]
CertifiedGraded assessment drawn from a question bank, with a time limit, plus a practical task in a training organisation[to be set]
AdvancedAdvanced assessment plus a project reviewed by a named assessor[to be set]
  • Practical tasks and projects are graded by a named assessor against a published rubric. An AI assistant may suggest feedback to the assessor, but no grade or certificate is ever issued on an AI assessment alone.
  • Foundation certificates do not expire. Certified and Advanced certificates will be valid for a period that is [to be set], because the product changes, and are renewed by a short update course.
  • A certificate may be withdrawn if it was obtained by misconduct or used to misrepresent what the ecosystem offers. The holder is told the reason and may ask for a review by someone not involved in the decision.

What a certificate does not mean

A certificate records that a person completed training and passed its assessment. It is not an endorsement of the person or their business, it does not make a business a partner, and it does not certify the platform, a product or an organisation's compliance with any law or standard.

Fees, seats and learners' records

  • Whether each course is included with a plan, charged separately or offered free to partners is [to be set]. The partner induction is part of joining the partner programme.
  • An organisation will be able to buy a pool of course seats and assign them to its people, and to see who has started and completed each course.
  • A learner's sponsoring organisation sees their progress and results on the courses it paid for, and learners are told this when they enrol. Learning records are handled under the privacy policy, and learners can ask for a copy of their record or for its correction.
  • Courses are designed to work with assistive technology, with captions on video and transcripts for audio. A learner who needs an adjustment to an assessment can ask for one before it begins.

When each track opens

Tracks open in step with the platform, so that no course teaches something that cannot yet be used. No date is given for any of them.

Still to settle before the first courses open

  • the final names of the three levels
  • pass marks, attempts and waiting periods for each assessment
  • how long Certified and Advanced certificates remain valid
  • which courses are included with each plan and which are charged
  • whether training given in person before the learning module opens earns credit towards a certificate
  • the order in which language versions are prepared
