1. Welcome

This guide is for anyone who reads, watches or listens to the work of Momin Sheikh and the MominSheikh.com Ecosystem, and for anyone who decides to create an account, join the community or take a course. It explains what you can do, what you will be asked for, what choices you have and where to get help.

The ecosystem is a connected business platform built by entrepreneur Momin Sheikh, who has worked in digital marketing and IT since 2012. It starts as the home of his own work, his articles, talks, courses and services, and grows in planned stages into a platform that businesses can use.

Key pointYou can always read before you sign up, choose what you are told about, and leave with your data.

Until the platform opens, you can follow Momin Sheikh's published work and contact the team through the contact page.

If you only want to read and watch, "Visiting without an account" is enough. If you want an account, read "Creating your account" and "Your privacy and choices". If you want to learn, read "Taking your first course" as well.

2. Visiting without an account

Cookies and tracking. When you first visit, you choose which cookies to allow. Essential cookies keep the site working; anything else, such as analytics, is used only if you agree, and you can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings. Reading an article is never treated as a request to be contacted. See the cookie policy.

The newsletter. When you subscribe, you give an email address and choose what you want to receive. You receive only that, by email, and nothing by WhatsApp or SMS unless you separately agree. Every message has a link to unsubscribe.

Enquiries and consultations. You can describe a business question in an enquiry or book a consultation. You will be told who will reply and by which channel; we do not promise a reply time until our service commitments are published. Your enquiry is used to answer you, and to send you marketing only if you separately agree.

In practice. You can read everything public, subscribe to what interests you and ask a question, all without creating an account and without being followed around the internet.

3. Creating your account

An account lets you keep your preferences, join the community, enrol in courses and manage your privacy in one place. One account works across everything you do with the ecosystem: if you later become a client or a partner, you use the same sign-in.

You create an account with an email address and a password, and confirm your email with a link we send. Signing up with a mobile number is planned. We ask only for what is needed to start. You must be at least [minimum age to be confirmed] to create an account; our services are designed for adults, professionals and businesses.

Creating an account
  1. Step 1: Enter email and password
  2. Step 2: Confirm your email
  3. Step 3: Choose language
  4. Step 4: Set privacy choices
  5. Step 5: Free membership starts

Signing in securely. You sign in with your email and password, and you can reset a forgotten password from the sign-in page. Two-step verification and passwordless sign-in, such as a passkey, are planned for members. When you turn on two-step verification, you are given recovery codes once; keep them somewhere safe. We will never ask for your password by email, message or telephone.

Your free membership. When your account is created, you have a free membership. Paid memberships with more content and features are planned; what each includes, and its price, will be published before it is offered.

Closing your account. You can close your account at any time. Before you do, you can ask for a copy of your data. Some records, such as receipts, must be kept for the time the law requires; everything else is deleted as our Privacy Policy describes.

4. Choosing your language and region

The platform is designed for four languages: English, Urdu (including Roman Urdu), Arabic and European Portuguese. English is available at launch; each other language is added only when every part of it, including the privacy and consent text, is complete and reviewed, so that you never meet half a page in your language and half in another.

Your language is never guessed from where you appear to be. The platform uses, in order, a choice you make now, the preference saved in your account, and otherwise a default for your market. Arabic pages read from right to left.

Dates and numbers follow the format of your chosen region, times are shown in your own time zone, and prices are shown in the currency of your market where one has been set. If you are in Oman, privacy notices are shown in Arabic, with English alongside.

In practice. If something appears in the wrong language, tell us; it is treated as a fault, not a preference.

5. Finding content

You can search everything public by keyword and browse by topic: business, growth, technology, artificial intelligence and the founder's other subjects. Results show what each item is and when it was published. Following topics and saving items are planned with the community features.

Where content is reserved for paid members, you see its title and summary and the option to upgrade. You are never shown a paid preview as if it were the full item.

Ask Momin. A public AI assistant is planned. It will answer questions only from published material, show where each answer comes from, say when it does not know, and never claim to be Momin Sheikh in person. It will not give legal, financial or investment advice, and everything it writes will be labelled as AI-generated. See Responsible AI.

6. Joining the community

The community is planned for a later release: a place for members to ask questions, share what they are working on and learn from each other and from the founder.

You choose what your profile shows and to whom. Each field can be public, visible to members only, visible to your connections only, or private.

Everyone follows the Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines. Reputation is built from helpful answers, contributions and completed learning, never from follower counts. Every item in your feed can tell you why you are seeing it.

You can report any post or message that breaks the guidelines. Reports are reviewed by people; AI may help flag spam, but it never takes a serious action on its own. If action is taken on your content, you are told why and can ask for a review.

7. Taking your first course

Courses, cohorts and learning paths are planned for a later release. Each course page shows what you will learn, how long it takes, how it is taught, whether it leads to a certificate, and its price, which is published before the course is offered.

Free courses open when you enrol. For a paid course, you pay through a licensed payment provider; the platform never sees or stores your card details, and your enrolment begins as soon as your payment is confirmed.

Your first course
  1. Step 1: Choose a course
  2. Step 2: Enrol or pay
  3. Step 3: Start the first lesson
  4. Step 4: Live sessions and assignments
  5. Step 5: Certificate

Cohort courses have live sessions, recorded for those who miss them, with a visible indicator when recording is on. Instructors grade assignments; AI may help an instructor, but never marks graded work alone. A planned course tutor will answer only from the course you are enrolled in and never do your assessed work for you.

When you complete a course that offers one, you receive a certificate with its own number and a public page where anyone can check it is real. Refunds follow the Refund, Cancellation & Subscription Policy, published before any course is sold. In the European Union you have a right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days, except where you agreed to start digital content straight away and were told you would lose the right.

8. Your privacy and choices

Your account has privacy and security settings, growing into a full Privacy and Security Centre. Until each self-service control is available, you can make any of these requests by contacting us, and we answer within the time the law of your country allows.

What you can doHow
See and download your informationRequest to us at launch; self-service download planned
Correct your informationEdit your profile, or ask us
Delete your account and informationRequest to us, subject to records the law requires us to keep
Change your consent choicesConsent settings, at any time
See your sessions and devices, and sign out othersSecurity settings
Turn on two-step verificationSecurity settings, when available

You choose how you hear from us for each kind of message: straight away, in a digest, silently or not at all. Security alerts, legal notices and payment confirmations cannot be switched off, because you need them.

In short: we collect what we need for the service you asked for; we never sell your information; we do not share it with the founder's other businesses; and you can ask for a copy or its deletion at any time. If you are in the European Union, your data is planned to be hosted in the European Union.

9. Getting help

A help centre is planned. Until it opens, and for anything it cannot answer, contact the team through the contact page. You will be told who will reply and how.

If something has gone wrong, please tell us first. We will acknowledge your complaint, look into it and tell you the outcome. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights and the courts of your own country.

The platform is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If anything stops you using it, tell us and we will help you another way and fix the problem. See the accessibility statement.

10. Questions people ask

QuestionAnswer
Is the platform open yet?Not yet. It opens only when each release has passed its tests. This guide will be updated when it does.
Do I have to pay to use it?No. Reading the public site, subscribing to the newsletter and having a free account cost nothing.
Is this the founder himself answering me?When the founder replies, he does so in his own name. Team members reply in their own names. The planned AI assistant always says it is an AI.
Can I use one account for everything?Yes, whether you are a reader, a member, a learner or, later, a client or partner.
Can I use a nickname?Yes, within the community guidelines. Where a certificate or invoice needs your legal name, you are asked for it then.
Will you sell my information? No. We never sell personal information.
Will I get WhatsApp messages?Only if you agree to them separately.
Do I keep my courses if I cancel a paid membership?Your learning record and certificates stay with you. Access to paid content depends on what you bought.
Can I learn on my phone?Yes, in your phone's browser. Dedicated mobile apps are planned.
